Suddenly having a problem with my water heater was not something l wanted during the lock down period, however one phone call (on a Sunday ) and l was told that a plumber would be with me the next day. After a series of checks, and tests, l was advised that due to the age of the heater, that a new cylinder and fittings was recommended. By Thursday 1pm the new system was fully fitted, tested, and everything was back to normal. The work was carried out quickly, and the area was left clean and tidy, plus everything was taken away and at no extra cost

I firstly wanted to thank you for the help you provided with my parents installing their new toilet.

Fred booked my parents in straight away when they had a a problem with their toilet not flushing correctly and it turned out due to the age of the toilet, Fred recommended changing it, my parents choosing a new toilet which Fred kindly sourced for them.

Once it arrived Fred with cotton gloved hands fitted the toilet and with my father being a Pattern Maker in his day, he has a thing for perfection and Fred provided this with high quality workmanship.

I recently used Fred at FJM to service my boiler that was long overdue. He carried out the work quickly and without any fuss or mess and then also looked at the portable control unit that I had managed to break and advised on a replacement. Just a couple of days later, he returned with the new unit and got it all working.

My house became warmer because I could adjust the heat and will also now save me money because I can put it on timer throughout the day instead of constant ON!

The following week, I had a leaking tap in my bathroom that I had no way of stopping. It was just before the bank holiday weekend and I called Fred who was working at another customer's but came to me on his way home and fixed it immediately.

Cleaning your boiler is usually one of those things that slips your mind, going to the back of your to-do list. I am so glad I asked Fred to clean my boiler.

Whilst he had my boiler in pieces, he noticed a few problem areas, such as a crack in my heater and a broken seal on the air pipe. If not addressed, this could have become worse and ultimately caused carbon monoxide poisoning. Instead of spending money trying to find old parts, Fred came up with an easy solution that fixed the problem immediately, making my boiler safe again.

On top of this, he left the area around the boiler cleaner than when he arrived, which is surprising, given the amount of dirt that came out of the boiler. You can't ask for much more.

I highly recommend F J Masters Plumbing & Heating and will now always go back to them for my plumbing and heating needs.

Say something interesting about your business here. I contacted Fred Masters from FJM Plumbing & Heating to look at a recurring issue with our heating. The fault in question caused the heating to start at strange times of the night and day, even when the heating was turned off.

Despite the company being extremely busy, Fred arranged for Darren to visit me the next working day.

Darren arrived at the arranged time, quickly diagnosing not only the main fault that I contacted FJM about, but also another couple of issues too: a small leak and a problem with a cylinder valve. He fixed all issues promptly and without a mess, all at a competitive price.

After using FJM on a few occasions, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a central heating expert and will be recommending them to others in the future where I can.
